Race to the South pole

The Arms Around The Child team were in heavy preparations for the Race To The South Pole. Now warmly at home they courageously completed the challenge.

The team members Frank, Gavin and James raced the 704 kilometres, the toughest endurance race on the planet. They started from the coastline of Nova with other teams and raced to be the first to the Geographic South Pole. The event was to commemorate the centenary of Captain Scott and Amundsen’s expedition to the South Pole.
